Accessibility Statement

1. Commitment to accessibility

Activated Digital Ltd, the operator of the irua.app service, regards the provision of an accessible service to the public at large — including persons with disabilities — as a substantive value, and not merely an obligation. We work on an ongoing basis to make our digital services accessible in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to a Service), 5773-2013.

2. The accessibility standard applied

This website has been made accessible in accordance with the provisions of Israeli Standard 5568 — Guidelines for Web Content Accessibility, at level AA, which is based on the recommendations of the international standards organisation (W3C — WCAG 2.0 AA).

3. How we made the site accessible

Among other things, we have taken the following steps:

• Adapting the display to assistive technologies (screen readers), including the use of correct semantic tags and ARIA attributes.
• The ability to navigate the site fully using the keyboard alone (Tab, Enter, arrow keys), with clear visual focus indication.
• Alternative text (alt) for images that carry substantive information.
• Maintaining sufficient colour contrast between text and background on most screens of the system.
• Avoiding flashing content and automatic elements liable to cause distraction.
• Support for enlarging text in the browser without breaking the layout.
• Correct labelling of form fields, including clear error messages and the association of labels.
• The language and reading direction of the content are explicitly declared on every page (lang, dir).

4. Supported browsers and assistive technologies

The site has been tested with up-to-date browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge in their current versions. Functioning has been tested against the screen readers NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), with ongoing improvement.

It is recommended to use an up-to-date browser version. Older browsers (for example Internet Explorer) may not support the full range of accessibility features.

5. Known accessibility limitations

As at the date of the update of this statement — we are not aware of any accessibility limitations in the components of the service that are under our control. We continue to test the service on an ongoing basis, and if a limitation is discovered — it will be set out here explicitly, alongside the planned timetable for its correction.

It is clarified that content uploaded by the event organizers themselves is not under our direct control — see section 9 below.

6. Exemptions that are not relevant

The service does not include long video files, live broadcast content or interactive maps — accordingly the exemptions in regulations 35(d) and 35(e) concerning captions, audio description and maps are not relevant as at today.

7. Accessibility enquiries

For any problem, question or request for assistance regarding accessibility — you may contact us:

Email enquiries are received at any hour. As at this date no dedicated accessibility coordinator has been appointed, because the appointment duty under section 19MB of the Law applies to bodies employing 25 employees or more.

We will endeavour to respond to every accessibility enquiry within 5 business days. Should the problem require a technical correction, we will update you as to the planned timetable for the correction.

8. How to report an accessibility problem

When contacting us please state the following details, so that we can handle the matter efficiently:

1. A description of the problem — what you tried to do and what did not work.
2. The specific page on which the problem appeared (full URL address).
3. The type of assistive technology you are using (if relevant).
4. The type of browser and device.
5. Contact details for getting back to you.

9. Parts that are not under our control

Certain parts of the service are based on content uploaded by the organizer (logos, event images, invitation wordings, ticket types). Such content is not under our direct control, and the organizer bears the responsibility for uploading accessible content. Should you encounter an accessibility problem in such content — please contact both the organizer and us, and we will make every effort to assist in resolving it.
