Data Deletion Request
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This English text is provided for convenience. The binding version is the Hebrew one: הגרסה העברית
This document explains how you may request that Activated Digital Ltd (hereinafter: “the Company”), the operator of the irua.app service, delete your personal information — whether you opened an organizer account yourself, or your details were collected as a guest at an event. This document supplements the Privacy Policy and sets out the practical means of exercising the right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”).
1. Who this document is intended for
This document addresses three types of users, and for each of them the manner of exercise differs slightly:
- Organizer — an account holder who opened an account at irua.app themselves and manages events.
- Guest — a person whose details (name, telephone, email, form answers) were uploaded to the system by an organizer, or who provided them upon registering for an event.
- Visitor — a person who visited the site without opening an account.
2. Who owns the information you are asking to delete
As explained in the Privacy Policy, the Company has a different role with respect to different types of information, and this determines whom to approach:
- Information concerning an organizer account and anonymous visitors: here Activated Digital is the owner of the database (Controller). A deletion request is handled directly by us.
- Information concerning event guests: here the organizer is the owner of the database, and we act on their behalf as a holder (Processor) only. The first address for a deletion request is the organizer who invited you. If the organizer does not respond, contact us and we will assist vis-à-vis the organizer.
3. Self-deletion of an organizer account
If you have an organizer account, you may initiate deletion yourself, without needing to contact us:
- Log in to your account at irua.app.
- Go to the Settings page → Account.
- Choose “Delete account” and confirm the request.
- The account will be disabled immediately, and all personal information linked to it will be deleted within 30 days — other than information we are required to retain by law (see Section 7).
4. Deletion of information about a guest at an event
If your details were uploaded by an organizer and you request to be deleted:
- Contact the organizer who invited you — they are the owner of the information and can delete your record from the system immediately.
- If you received a WhatsApp message or an email containing an unsubscribe link, clicking it removes you from that organizer’s mailing list.
- If you do not know who the organizer is, or if they do not respond, contact us at info@activated.digital with the telephone number or the email address to which the message was sent, and we will locate the organizer and assist in handling the request.
5. Deletion request by email
In any case in which self-deletion is not possible, send a request to info@activated.digital with the subject line “בקשת מחיקת מידע” (“Data deletion request”). So that we can locate the information and verify your identity, please include:
- Your full name.
- The email address and/or telephone number associated with the information.
- A description of the request — deletion of a full account, or deletion of a record as a guest at a particular event.
- If known — the name of the relevant organizer or event.
We will send an acknowledgement of receipt of the request, and will notify you once the deletion is completed.
6. Deletion of information from linked accounts
If you logged in to the service or linked it to an external account (for example by means of social login or connecting a messaging channel), deleting the account or the record with us also removes the link and the information received through it. In addition, you may remove the permission granted to irua.app directly from the privacy settings of that external platform. Once the permission is disconnected, no further information from that account will flow to us.
7. What is deleted and what is retained
Deletion removes all identifying personal information — name, telephone, email, form answers, guest records, and account settings. That said, there is some information that we are required to retain even after a deletion request, by virtue of a legal obligation or a narrow legitimate interest:
| Type of information | Deleted? | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Account, events and guest records | Deleted | Within 30 days of receipt of the request |
| Invoices and tax records | Retained | 7 years, in accordance with the requirement of the Income Tax Ordinance |
| Server logs and message-sending logs | Retained temporarily | Up to 24 months, for purposes of evidence and the resolution of disputes — and then deleted |
| “Unsubscribe” record from mailing | Retained minimally | Only a minimal identifier is retained, in order to honour the unsubscribe request and not to approach you again |
8. Timeframes
Self-deletion from within the account is carried out immediately (disabling of access), and the physical deletion from the system is completed within 30 days. A deletion request by email will be answered within 30 days of its receipt, as required under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981. If additional time is required due to the complexity of the request — we will update you before the end of the period.
9. Identity verification
In order to protect you, before carrying out a deletion we may ask to verify that you are indeed the owner of the information — for example by the request being sent from the registered email address, or by verification of the telephone number. We will not delete information on the basis of a request that we cannot link to you, in order to prevent malicious deletion of another person’s information.
10. Contact details
For any deletion request, question or appeal, you may contact:

Dedicated email: info@activated.digital
Telephone: 03-52-444-11
You are also entitled to approach the Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice if in your view we have acted contrary to the law: gov.il/Privacy Protection Authority.
